How long does it keep drinks hot?

This product will maintain the temperature of hot drinks for 6 hours; however this time depends on how often you open the lid, allowing heat to escape and how you prepare it with boiling water before use. While the stainless steel tumbler is vacuum-insulated, the plastic lid is not. Pre-heating your tumbler with boiling water will help to maintain a high temperature for longer, however after about 2 hours, the temperature of your drink may begin to reduce (especially if you have opened and closed it a few times while drinking). The purpose of the product is to maintain drink temperature over a few hours, rather than the whole day.

While the stainless steel tumbler is vacuum-insulated, the plastic lid is not. The purpose of the product is to maintain drink temperature over a few hours, rather than the whole day.

Is the Insulated Tumbler dishwasher-safe?

No, the Insulated Tumbler is not dishwasher safe. Wash the cup with warm soapy water before you use it for the first time, and again after every use. DO NOT immerse in water. Dry thoroughly after leaving it to drain. Always store with lid removed.

How do I remove stains?

Fill tumbler with hot water, add one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (DO NOT put lid on while using this cleaning method). For best results soak overnight. Always rinse before reuse. Alternatively, use a solution of vinegar and water.

No, the Insulated Travel Tumbler is not microwave-safe.

Can the Insulate Tumbler be used for carbonated drinks?

Yes, you can use the Insulated Tumbler with carbonated drinks and it is still 100% leak proof.

Is the Insulated Travel Tumbler freezer-safe?

Yes, you can use the Insulated Tumbler in the freezer but keep upright and as liquid expands when frozen, please ensure there is room at the top and be careful not to overfill. Make sure the contents are fully defrosted before trying to unscrew the top.

a word from the designer

When setting out to design our new tumbler, there were already lots of others already on the market. Like any new design, we always set ourselves the challenge of needing to offer something better. The one failing of other tumblers on their market, is they are not leak proof. They might be listed as 'spill proof' or 'leak resistant' but this hardly seems practical for on-the-go drinking if you want to take hot drinks or carbonated drinks. Taking advantage of our innovative lockable, one hand operable and easy-clean lid mechanism, we were able to adapt the design to work with a higher flow rate / bigger opening spout and clear Tritan top that allows you to see inside.
